It's an immensely busy time of year but @JBHist and I am glad to be taking a couple of hours out this pm to talk to @UofGGenderHist about our most recent research paper, 'Radical Exposure: masculinity, sexuality, and politics in the case of William Bengo Collyer'. Should be fun!
So, after five years, the full manuscript of my @SurgicalEmotion book, entitled 'Emotions and Surgery in Britain, 1793-1912' has finally gone off to @cambUP_History. It feels odd to let it go, but I can't wait to see it in print (or free OA PDFs for the rest of you!).
While I am busy finishing the next one (in between Zoom meetings), why not check out my first book, Performing Medicine: Medical Culture and Identity in Provincial England, c.1760-1850, which is current available for FREE here - https://t.co/KMba27Ec0I - thanks to @ManchesterUP!
