sonic has been in so many pieces of media that span completely different mediums that you can realistically connect him to almost any fictional franchise it’s crazy

i find it especially weird because smeargle's official gen 2 art and shiny sprite HAD a green tail but all other media from that time gave him a red tail. maybe they accidently mixed up the sprites and got confused down the line, iunno
