Flora and the Zephyrs, 1897 💕

This painting by JW Waterhouse depicts the moment Zephyr first set eyes on Flora and fell in love, as she gathered flowers in the fields with her maidens. He flies down to her, and captures her by casting a garland of white flowers around her.

My adaption of Waterhouse’s ‘The Siren’, 1900. This depicts the point where a Siren looks at a shipwreck survivor while she’s transforming into a mermaid. It allows you to decide if she will help, or harm him. Mythology loves a bit of femme fatale, what do you think she will do?
