Stopped to do some sketching on our dog walk the other day. Painted separations and made a little picture of Nairn.
A little Owl and the Pussycat pic I’ve been playing with. I find it really hard not to over-tidy my work. I’ve got a great John Minton book and what I love about his work is how loose the colour is. So I’m trying to let go a little.
I stole a lot of details for Dot from my own dog, Wilson. This is his favourite spot. Does anyone else’s pet have a favourite place to be?
If you’re looking for an Easter bunny to draw this weekend then look no further!

Been making some worksheets for my next book. It’s actually really fun to build a maze.
I’ve combined my #OurOtherMother with this week’s #colour_collective because I spent too long drawing leaves.
Please look after this planet.
Hi! My name is Meg. I’m an author and illustrator from Inverness and I’m looking for an agent.
I work mostly in picture books but would like to expand into young fiction too.
