April 2022 vs October 2022
Learned a lot of techniques this year + art looks a bit more dynamic and proportional I guess!
Most importantly, went back to my semi-chibi art roots. https://t.co/GFhaWojkeB
And for comparison, this is what Terry and Seashore looked like back in 2020 when I first drew them.
Terry was made back in Feb 2020, Seashore a few days later
He finally met his seahorse, Seashore, again! After years of missing home sweet home in the countryside.
Met his family again, and his horse; now it's time to say goodbye to his Pa before going back to Inkopolis for his Agent duties! 🤠💛

YEEHAW! Now he has a cowboy hat! 🤠
Next stop: let's get a seahorse for the cowboy!

Agent 4 Terry ft. that strip that character meme except we don't strip him and we just see what happens with each progression 🤠

KNY really helped me get back onto my semi-chibi art funk earlier this year. I tried retconning semi-chibi for years, but it just came out unnatural.
After that phase, I decided to try working on my own style with inspirations from various art styles!
Started with this picture of Mio, when I learned how to properly shade. Tierra was when I started using actual refs.
Using references and embracing my chibi style really helped build confidence that spilled onto my future art, whether it's just silly doodles or actual pieces. https://t.co/wqq6NV1JOl
