Akira had a redesign a few years back. She's a former assassin who used to work for the gov't given superhuman powers, now a vigilante in the shadows.

Ezra is pretty much the same, except he's an octoling and an agent. Outside of being an agent he just wants a simple life.

The "favourite piece" part was a difficult choice. I actually liked a lot of stuff I worked on this year! It was full of experiments, but Ezra and Masu made it here because of how natural working on it felt at the time.
