This is my final look for Ruby! Red rose lace dress and black coat combo. I adore Ruby in a black coat - more grim reaper symbolism and I love making Ruby have parallels with the reaper. This took like 20 drawings to get here! There are more in my sketchbook! 😭😭😭

I designed a Ruby but I'm feeling really uncertain about this one. Sadly it will just be a prototype, too, meaning I will attempt it again. Suggestions/ideas? Specifically, how do you feel about her having shaggy longer hair? I feel she wouldn't have access to a hair salon ♥️🌈

Thank you so much for your likes and comments! Some were curious, so here is the unfinished, other half of my team RWBY designs. I just really messed up Wiess' left hand and I completely fudged Blake's outfit and proportions! Grr that's the thing about traditional art! 😖

@JudgmentalThe - Hey! I come from Canada and I think that winter outfits are super cute! I hate the philosophy that you can't design awesome outfits, that also happen to be warm at the same time. I really struggled the most with Yang, but I hope you like everyone else!
