Just watched @AlitaMovie and I was holding back tears the whole time! It felt like the manga came to life, with some creative liberties that were fitting for movie format, but overall so faithful to the source material. I'm blown away 😭 Alita herself was SO PERFECT!!!!

I miss when Lara Croft was a power fantasy. She's relatable and likeable now, which is fun, but tbh I don't want to relate to her. I want to vicariously live through her and her rebellious recklessness all wrapped up in a sarcastic and witty package. (A thread)
