one really fascinating thing about jojo is how characters appear on screen for the first time, then their designs change as it goes on, so the debut appearances suddenly look very off

one of the funniest parts of the PS2 phantom blood game is when they decided to add the three 77 knights characters that show up for one panel but had to give them actual designs, and they do not look like part 1 characters at all

the appearance foo fighters adopts in stone ocean is great and all, but kinda sad this design was a mere decoy and didn't stick around

i always thought old straits and midknight looked weirdly similar, i think it's that they're both (eventually) vampiric that made me tie that together in my mind

difference is midknight refrains from causing human suffering, straits will totally cause it to make him look younger

hit me as i was going to bed last night that hsu hao has the same eyes as risotto nero, but only sometimes
