It will be interesting to see if the Starlight Sword gains any extra capabilities. Betsy says the last of the Citadel’s magic is within the blade but we haven’t seen anything from it yet outside of regular clashing. She was able to hold the gate open with it so that’s something.

With these mutants holding magic in their blood could they also be the next evolution of “mutant magic?” Community, strength in one, and harmony have been key components of mutant magic and with Rictor taking the reigns there is much more that could be done.
