Construction practice, and the reference used.
Reference is from a game called Monster Train. Didn't really put effort into the axe, just used a 'holding' shape.

And then we put them up against Koromaru.
@SnakeMomMelissa There's not much artwork for them but I think these get the point across(used on the wiki and a Paizo Blog/news post).
They can be from creepy voodoo to little clockwork automatons as well. And upgraded. Not effective but they're a fun/cute idea.
So a Melty Blood came out. Huh I don't keep up with it that much, most my knowledge comes from MUGEN and Salty Bet.
