At first glance, this appears to be a sweet book with an cute art style but there's much more here. Action, drama, and a lot of heart.

Some of the themes hit pretty close to home. By the end I was crying.

Nadia really is her father's daughter.

Abigail Brand and Hank McCoy kind of have a reverse Beauty and the Beast thing going on.

Instead of ever being locked up against her will, Abigail sees a Beast who initially wants nothing to do with her and immediately decides that she will absolutely get that blue, furry dick.
