Those "make your photo look like a watercolor painting!!" filters are actually pretty useful for blending effects into drawings. Left is the original chain mail pattern overlay, right has a "paint daubs' filter on the pattern and it looks much less out of place.

Throwbacks: realistic Litten, Rowlet, and Popplio! I like to go for Pixar-style "realism" and try and keep the proportions closer to their original cutesy ones.

I feel like the best Pokemon designs are those that are simple and immediately distinctive but yet they don't quite map to any real world animal. Utterly unique! Abra, Latias, this guy... who's your favorite "what is that" Pokemon?
