DKR's Batman design was an updated version of Dick Sprang's, I always thought (even Robin's scale). Not sure if I read Miller confirming that somewhere or if it's obvious. Makes me love it even more, if true

Does anyone work Marvel Style (when an artist draws an entire issue based on a plot, not a full script) or has that approach disappeared?

I've tried with my own comics, but it's weird since as a writer/artist, I find that "writing" is constant.
