It is too bad Mirai imagines Kakashi and Gai and Asuma as a trio instead of getting to see the full group of Kakashi, Gai, Asuma, and Kurenai in action together. The duo of power couples was such a blast, and Mirai is both of their legacies.

It took some years of enduring Hokage work, but as soon as he was finally free, Kakashi finally took Gai on that vacation he’d been planning for them for years!
