Plz tell me I’m not the only one who’s slightly unnerved by these images
@vmpartible @SonyPictures i. Am. SO. sorry 😥
Finished up “Cuphead” awhile back and remembered “Teenage Robot”, which @RobRenzetti made for Nickelodeon. Sporting a 30’s Art Deco/Fleischer design instead of the 50’s UPA/Googie style popular with competitors really makes it stand out, even amongst its own Nicktoon brethren
@SomeKirbyFan You know now that I think about it a LOT of video game characters seem to be heavily inspired by the 30’s “rubber hose” look of early Disney and Fleischer works
have some really stupid sbubbies i made last year. @RubysDiner @RealKathleenW @misterwarburton no regrets
These are the only ones I know I’ve seen more than one episode of https://t.co/gAVhqXHNSJ
@YodaDanny @HannaBarberaCap @NoContextEnter The one with the staff looks like the kid in this show I randomly found on Disney+
@BeansNoContext @NoContextPPG @CrackMcCraigen @andyparkart @wandavision @MarvelStudios @cartoonnetwork fun fact: Hanna Barbera animated the intro to "Bewitched", and was a major influence in the art style of "Johnny Bravo", a Cartoon Network show also done by the studio
