A little piece in my small A6 sketchbook. Tricky with the colors and getting the rain drops reasonable. Drawn with a micron 005 with sepia ink then some watercolor and a little white ink for highlights. #micron #tulip #mouse #cuteanimals
It’s World Wildlife Day. My favorite subject to draw and paint. So many more to come ;-)
My little watercolor render of a dragonfly. Wings done with ink and a light watercolor wash.
Happy #AnimalArtistsUnite day created by @ChloeCarterArts Here are some of my recent pieces in graphite, colored pencil, and watercolor
Today’s prompt for #SciArtSeptember is “handmade”. This merganser duckling emerged from one of the duck houses I built around our pond. Watercolour on cold press. @liz_lagomorph @FlyingTrilobite
My nature journal page for the monarch butterfly is complete. The chrysalis may look different than the norm but this is just after dropping its skin as a caterpillar. Colored pencil on hot press. About 3 hours work. Thanks for following along. Plant milkweed!
So much fun having @kinaink on the podcast to talk about her journey and her relatively recent transition to full-time artist. Kina shares some great tips through the diversity in her work from space jellyfish to murals and also creating her own journal. https://t.co/Z15pvaDuPN
Thank you to everyone who was part of the live draw today. Thank you to @Sassephoto for having me on and being such a great host/guide. #sciart #livedraw
I did this digital drawing today as part of a one hour live draw on Instagram. Blue herons don’t mind the snow. Drawn using the iPad Pro and Procreate. #digitalart #drawing
