Gotchapon is a pretty old OC of mine! I made her and my Oni back in 2011 for a comic idea that I abandoned. It was something about an adventurer going to fight monsters but he makes friends with them instead and they all wind up being roommates or something.

What’s with the name? “Gotchapon” is a combination of “Gotcha” and “Gachapon”. I was trying to play on the surprise element of Mimics, but also make it sound cute like a capsule toy.

What is she? Gotchapon is a slime-mimic hybrid. The only one that exists as far as anyone knows. Sadly she doesn’t fit in with the other slimes or Mimics… While both like to steal treasure, they usually eat the gold later. Gotcha likes to hoard it, so she’s seen as a weirdo.

Gotchapon is a party member in my game concept, currently titled “Doki Doki Demon Dungeon”. The concept is; a Skeleton finds a dead rpg hero and takes over his quest and recruits his own party of misfit monsters https://t.co/5QjhhlU4BR
