If their wounds are deep enough, they become scars - which appear as cracks on the skin, as if stone. Sometimes, flowers stay trapped in those cracks.
Light is a character who has one of the most obvious scars - mainly the gaping hole in her face.
Small Gifted Beasts lore piece (1/2, because tweet limit)
Characters given the Gifted Beasts curse can bleed - but, not in the same way we would. Being attached to the nature of Aigena, their insides turn to a glowing white fluid that can sprout flowers.
Decided to do a complete redraw of a 2020 piece.

This tavern houses a peace-keeping group, and is hidden far up into the mountains of Saltwind Island. These mountains are well-known for being barren, isolated, and cold - assumed to keep the group safe.
