Astaroth from Ghosts 'N Goblins was one of the first game character designs I can really remember getting fixated on. I'd keep picking up the box just to look at him. A perfect imagination grabber.

One of the real pleasures of Land of the Lustrous is seeing what strange anomaly the cast are up against in each installment. Trusting that it will barely be explained. That it will all play out visually. That this will be enough.

Our old cat Wood is insatiably ravenous around people food. Our kitten Nyx delights in stalking and pouncing on him. I've been calling them Nargacuga and Tigrex. My incredibly thoughtful partner commissioned @Mars_Atax to capture their wild Monster Hunter essence. I'm blown away.
