Exploring the Dragonfly Cluster: 2 of the portal-island-clusters... yup 'horizontal portals... but since this is essentially an elemental air plane.. you could pass through them in any orientation you wish :-)

Celebrating 3 years since ‘Misjay maps’ came into being with the 4th annual re-draw of these little mountains :-)
I can hardly believe how far I have come in 3 short years…

This cute little village is loosely based on a real life village, but for the life of me, I can't remember where it was on the map now...
Pretty sure the pond has a friendly resident many-eyed monster - at least, it is usually friendly?

I have not created much non-map art in the last few years... but recently followed a tutorial and created this rocky landscape... which then indirectly inspired the map that I (unfinished) map working on at the moment :-) #ttrpg

@G_Bloodworth @GilesPenfold Dying is not worth it!!
But really... that thought was where I was only a few years ago too,
then I had a go at it
then realized that it was harder than I thought ...
This was one of my early efforts!

@thomrey I even did a ‘good rough sketch’ first, which is something I have not really been doing… but am starting to see the value of it now….

but yesterday I learnt about the idea of automatic/meditative drawing/painting ... so I had a go.
these are my 3 favorite bits of what flowed out.

The last few weeks I have been messing around with a few TINY settlements that *might* be found upriver from Olchamarth....
