I've decided that Nina is Jeff's minion/annoying little sister he can't seem to shake (that's what you get when you recruit a diehard fan). Nina has no romantic interest, but instead, she idolizes and wants to be just like him. It's a HUGE ego boost if she wasn't so damn clingy.
