I like to do style studies to push my own colour usage & rendering. Now that my friends and I do a relaxed Friday night call while drawing, I treated myself to a study of @amidstsilence. I like dramatic evening window lighting. (Concept is not mine.)

You know what I've never understood? When people say 'almond shaped' eyes. No matter who I'm drawing, eyes always taper at the ends like an almond.
Is it me? Am I missing something?
