My love of fish started very at a very young age, eventually had many fish of my own and worked at an aquarium shop for a few years. If I could just get paid to draw fish forever, that would be my dream. #GetYourArtUnderwater #TeamFish

Excited to say that today was my first day at my new job at Netflix! I've joined the team as a Production Assistant on the recently announced animated series, My Dad the Bounty Hunter. I'm ready to work hard and learn as much as I can!

I used to work in traditional brush ink that I scanned and touched up, now I pretty much only use digital photoshop. I don't even know if I can do the old style anymore. 😭

For #SundayFishSketch and #SharkWeek2020 I picked the Chain Catshark (Scyliorhinus retifer) which is a small shark that also happens to be biofluorescent!

99% of the time I draw fish. If I were smarter, I would have been a biologist. Sometime last year I decided I was bored of b&w drawings and dove facefirst into trying to learn what color was. One day I'll figure it out...

I've chosen the Delta Smelt (Hypomesus transpacificus) from my home, the SF Bay Area. These fish are critically endangered. To represent my parent's home, the Hong Kong Paradise Fish (Macropodus hongkongensis).
