@nocontxtpacman @ThePACNATIC @RocktWithAPockt Was on my phone at the time and was struggling to find good images. Truthfully, I prefer the design without makeup, but I honestly just preferred any of the official Namco designs for her prior to the photoshopped 2019 one.

@ItsBizabizow I guess what I'm trying to say is I always felt the complaints that Classic Mega Man shouldn't evolve were downright silly, especially when other IPs including, Mario, Sonic and even Pac-Man were changing their mainline direction and making a new modern identity for themselves.

@ItsBizabizow The fanbase has improved tremendously since then but I still have vivid memories my time as a newbie in the fandom as a kid who grew up in the 2000's. It was more or less the equivalent of the Modern Sonic hatedom before Modern Sonic even started getting more detractors.

@PicOfKlonoa I want to imagine they casted a better-fitting English VA for Klonoa in this scenario.

I still think it should have been Amy Palant.

@deepfriedclyde @jycompany_ To be fair, World 2 did want to do more than what we got in the final product. They just had to drastically scale down due to tight devtime and developing for then-new hardware. Not to mention the game being multiplatform, The Gamecube was notorious for storage issues.

@Destructo_Dan I'm genuinely convinced the Sonic these cynical western critics and journalists want is literally just Bubsy.

They may as well just go play that in that case. (Especially since that series took arguably more inspiration from Mario aside from it's animal mascot rofl)
