Here is an alternate design for Luno (Riolu) that I drew a few weeks ago. The idea was to give a "mysterious swordsman" vibe that deviates from his original color palette and hides his connection with the moon.

After some revisions, here is the design of the rival character for my story: Kowa (Sneasel).

Similar to Luno, Kowa also descends from the ancient moon tribes of Meian. However, her tribe is more militaristic and aggressive in their beliefs.

Here are the updated designs for the main characters of my PMD-inspired story: Luno (Riolu) and Hisa (Kirlia).

I wanted to focus on color placement and simplifying elements of their design.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted. (School as usual)

Here's a brief WIP for Hisa. (Experimenting her appearance as a Kirlia) I kept her hairstyle the same because it suited her character.
