@ChrisThomasma Why does my MC want friends? Because he lived his entire life in loneliness.
Why does he want to be a hero? Because its his way to atone for all of the guilt he feels when he made a decision that lead to many people dying.
Why doesn't he give up? Because he wants a happy ending
