I always love this, and I've not seen anyone post it this year, so here you go!
Merr Chrismas!
I still love this piece I did ages ago.
But what I love the most is how I forgot to shop out the screwhead in the frame I scanned to be the background, and now that's an actual screwhead in this guy's world. I'm afraid of how big the screwdriver must be!
Still probably my favorite Doctor from back when I did "Doctor You!" pieces.
@QuickXyk probably causes as much trouble as he fixes, though!
Who are some of my favorite painters (that I don't personally know)? Gary Gianni, N.C. Wyeth, Paul Kidby, and Tony Sart, to name only a few. I admire how each captures character and tone in a different way, speaking volumes of story in a single image. Art should be a story.
Calloway Sharr, fashion wizard, is now in color! Took ages to sort out his color palette, but i love it!
Are you at #Anthrocon2019 ? Do you love comics, Redwall, or Game of Thrones? Then rush to @FurPlanet 's table and snag a hardback copy of Beyond the Western Deep! Limited edition hardbacks also available! Grab yours before they're gone!
I'm told it's #WorldOtterDay or something like that, so here's a sort of proto-Celtic otter... dude.
Not new, but best I had on short notice.
Been busy lately, so no new art. That said, here's a handy tip!
If you're drawing a charactet and it seems flar or boring, start over and put that character in their element. Starting over is often a good choice, and you get more practice.
Glad it's baseball season again. I'm not a huge fan, but it was my sport as a kid, and I enjoy the laid-back, friendly nature of the game.
