I finished Combatants will be dispatched volume 6 again. It is still extremely good, even better than when I first read it. There is a lot of character stuff here to love and I have no real complaints. I still prefer Volume 5, but that isn't a knock to volume 6 in any way.
Also, while reading I realized that Rose didn't get a single illustration in volume 5 outside of the colored illustrations at the start of the novel. Girl was done so dirty

Finished re-reading the prologue and chapter 1 of Combatants volume 6. Really really good. Viper and 6 are really fun together, and Alice is hilarious. The three of them in the forest were great.
