Around the turn of the millennium, Disney Italy publised a 12 issue mini-series called MICKEY MOUSE MYSTERY MAGAZINE, placing the famous character in a noir-esque story with a slightly more mature tone. There is some excellent cartooning in these books.

I'm not completely certain if I actually *like* Bertrand Mandico movies but I sure am fascinated by them.
