YEAH YEAH I know I said I was happy with the last post of this pic but I realized one little thing was bothering me, which was that I thought his jawline should look softer with all that fur. So I fixed it. And because we can't edit tweets, here it is again. RTs appreciated!

A few more slight tweaks and I'm happy. I like the whiskers and neck fluff enough to make them permanent features, although that fluff probably becomes more or less pronounced w/ seasonal changes). I think it helps make him look more mustelid...ish. Er, musteline?

The positioning of his neck/collar didn't seem right, so I messed around with the pic some more (and in the process gave him even more floof)

For the heck of it, revised this portrait of Stryker to give him a little bit of neck floof (for his winter coat). Also whiskers, because although he's supposed to have them, I've never actually drawn them in before.

My half of a LONG overdue trade with . Stryker - in civilian clothing - sharing a romantic dance with Fret the stoat (currently in her ermine coat).

I suppose I should try drawing it! Some of the art that I've gotten of Stryker from other artists has portrayed him with floof on his neck and I liked it...but the only time I've drawn it myself was when I drew him in Zootopia style:

Due to some....convoluted plot devices on the part of my GM for Star Trek Adventures, Stryker ends up losing several years of his memory, so he has to go back to his role before he became XO. I guess he looks okay in gold as Chief Security Officer...

Okay FINE. You all happy now? XP

(No, I'm not actually going to give Stryker a beard. I think facial hair looks odd on furries, unless it fits with the species, like a mustache on a sea otter or walrus, or a goatee on a goat, or maybe just a little tuft on the chin.)
