chaurus are big bugs in skyrim that live in caves and eat people and livestock. the obvious comparison is earwigs/dermaptera. however, if we look closely at the model, chaurus appear to have styli. these are modified legs found only in apterygota and the non-insect hexapods.

given circumstances I will be moving to the wastes and living a simple life amongst the bugs

The first time I found a centurion in skyrim, it refused to attack. Just shyly walked around the room and tried to follow me out. Afterwards I refused to fight them. Now eight years later I went back to that same cave and he's still in there, harmless as ever. Missed you buddy

I can play regular version skyrim on my computer now! It's still so very pretty. I brought my old character Saffron back to life to resume their adventures
