Heysham church (which has a proper name, but I can't remember it at the moment, because I haven't had enough coffee yet) in colour...
A couple more ghosts - Sarah Siddons, an actress most famous for her Lady Macbeth, who haunts the Grand Theatre in Lancaster, and a female ghost who haunts the ladies' toilets at the Three Mariners...presumably the latter is a boggart.
Two large eggs for breakfast,
Another egg to mind 'em.
A final egg to fill the gaps
And in the Thetford bind 'em.
A couple of guide book illustrations, both by coincidence schoolground favourites, this morning - Left: Frog spawn (or as we used to call it, 'tapioca'). Right: Conkers. (Enough said.) @CRTBoating @CRTnotices @CRTNorthWest @Northwe10991092 @JulietteGregson @CanalRiverTrust
A few random scribbles for th' Mouse Boat Guide this morning. From left to right, the Pike, Nettles and Hawthorn. @JulietteGregson @Northwe10991092 @CanalRiverTrust @CRTBoating @CRTnotices @LancasterCanal
I've decided to add a chapter on ghosts to the Mouse Boat Guide (I need something to fill up the pages.) The following is for a house in Lancaster that, according to the Online Paranormal Database (yes really is such a thing), is haunted by a long, boney finger !
