@WMassLiberty I'm convinced any American Godzilla movie will end up being devoid of subtext. It's always going to end up being "we have to stop the eggs from hatching!" or whatever nonsense. They won't be "about" something in the way that like Shin Godzilla is about the Fukushima disaster.
This alternative Predator artwork by Vlad Gheneli is great. I like how he rethinks design elements (like the mandibles), but the impression is true to the concept of the creature. That leanness and hawk-like profile feel more "right" than the look in some of the comics or sequels
Circa 1997 I brought this Alien Resurrection action figure in for ‘show and tell’ in grade school.
@TheLastMachine I'm more of a Byrne She-Hulk fan, but I'll take anything so long as it's good. I thought Charles Soule's recent run was a lot of fun too. I'd love a show like that.
It's always changing, but love these four: https://t.co/TRPYkvYW3C
@gotatveye No I get it. I mean the Jodorwsky version I love to think about how colourful and eclectic it would have felt, seeing that universe so so richly realized. There's so much visual potential in there outside of lots of brutalist architecture and spaceships.
