I first read 'A Kestrel for a Knave' at secondary school in 1970 & around the same time as the film Kes was doing the rounds. Following mistaken science & technology based O levels & #NCB craft apprenticeship my adoration for it was rediscovered later in life in my post pit days! https://t.co/C39q2ff0AA
