My Hero is an amazing manga and anime, that came out in a time of toxicity and negativity. Really fcking sad man. Hori and the series doesn't deserve this.

Hot take, POV is not a big deal to me. I also could argue implicit MC storytelling is more interesting than constantly being in their head all the time. There is a benefit to POV and non implicit POV style writing. And they're both excellent storytelling techniques.
