Some inspiration photos for the genie project. It’s fun taking a break from the Warhammer universe every now and then to paint something in a larger scale. And to airbrush with crazy colors I rarely use.
I started playing 4K in 2nd Edition, so missed many of these ultra classic pieces by Jes Goodwin, Kevin Walker, and Stephen Tappin.
Shamelessly animating Warhammer photos tonight. Here a Dwarf Runelord prepares to smite his enemies. I like this one, featuring my new Dark Fantastic Mills terrain. @Dark_Fantastic
@AuralEntropy @asakatamaki Hah! Now I need to glue an ork head sticking out of one of the barrels. Oscar the ork
@IScreamDice I really like this design. Is is possible to get the creamy part to align with the max number of each die? Seems fun to think that creamy rolls are high rolls.
@TheGodDamnDM Meh, if it wasn’t for bad player decisions, the DM’s job would be much less amusing.
The Boromir quote runs through my head often while painting minis. “It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing.” Mostly in the middle stage where everything looks like shite and I worry it will never turn out the way I hoped.
