this sketch is currently blowing up on my tumblr, so i figured i'd share it here as well.

the shirt crossed my dashboard and my first thought was "this is what waka thinks every time demons attack nippon". and then my hand slipped.

way back in 2016(? i think?) i listened to the okami soundtrack while sick, felt nostalgic, and banged out a human amaterasu design. i've always wanted to revisit it and polish it up, especially since i drew this all in between feverish naps, lol

I was inking this for like, three hours. i never want to ink anything again *cries*

tbh though i can't be too upset because i really like how she turned out in the end. i hope my players like her, too:
