I read Avengers: No Surrender and the Quicksilver tie-in today, and I think Pietro is now one of my favorite Marvel characters! I always saw him as a standoffish jerk, but this deep-dive into his head and how he views the world showed me he’s a really complex and compelling hero!

Nova turns 9! We first met Sam Alexander in the pages of Point One on November 9th, 2011. As the universe’s sole Black Nova, He’s proven himself to be an incredible hero whether he’s flying solo, avenging with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes or charging with the Champions!

It would mean the world for Sam to get recognition and exposure he deserves, as his friends have.
