this is a painted over version of this killua (left) from 2019 which is a painted over version of this killua (right) from 2016. every once in a while u just redraw killua
never let anyone tell u there's only one (1) right way to draw. after 20 years i realized I Sketch Bad so now i make a sketch then paint over the whole thing and does it make any sense? no but it works. blocking shapes out is easier for me. find what works for u and stick to it
did u know? the mangaka of shimanami tasogare (if you know you know) is working on a new manga rn called hiraeth wa tabiji no hate which stars a teenage girl, a god, and a bisexual immortal man on a journey to the land of yomi via motorbike. once again, if you know you know
an anon asked for my painting process so here r the 4 stages
1) shitty sketch
b) base colors
3) make a new layer on top and render like a madman for 5 hours straight
4) some actual lines
and that's pretty much it
