In the final episode of the Story of Welsh Art last night, Evan Walters’ ‘Bydd Myrdd o Ryfeddodau’ (Welsh Funeral Hymn) was featured. This complex allegorical painting was described by Peter Lord as “the most remarkable of the first half of the twentieth century in Wales.”
