I’ve had people ask about the way these journal drawings by @overshia are done.
It’s not a fake water color effect, it’s real. There’s some tweaks after they are scanned but most of it is done on paper.
Some of the cool splotches are done with watercolor, salt and coffee! Cool!
ICYMI The Axis Unseen will have a ton of custom art by @overshia! 🎨
For every creature you hunt, you will unlock a new journal entry and drawing. 📖
And yes, you can hunt Bigfoot. 🤘🏹🦶

Games always have bugs when they are in development.
Skyrim had one that people would call the "trash planet".
When working on Skryim, you had your "loaded area". Outside of that, you couldn't work. So what happened when you accidentally dragged something past the edge?
Cool seeing that Fallout is 25 now.
I'm glad I got to spend more than a decade of my life helping to build those games.
I worked on Fallout 3, Point Lookout, The Pitt, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 doing world art and lighting.
I hope you all have had fun with them!

A lot of people ask me why I left to be a solo indie dev after 14 years at Bethesda working on games like Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield.
There's a lot of reasons why, so I figured I'd do a little thread on it. 🧵
In Point Lookout, the mansion explodes, but we had no way to toggle distant things off. Distant buildings and trees were all just one static set.
So what to do? It needs to explode and go away and we can't have the mansion suddenly show up when you walk further away...
Here's some of my favorite things I've generated with Midjourney lately.
It's super handy for trying out different ideas really fast.
Exciting times.
Since tomorrow is Skyrim's ten year anniversary, here's a quick thread with some of the stuff I did on the game.
One of my main focuses was kits for the level designers, so I built quite a few of them including the Caves, Ice Caves, Imperial Forts and Ratway Kit.
