I realize now why I've thoroughly enjoyed the original Mobile Suit Gundam. It gives me the same feelings OT Star Wars does.
These series are definitely not 1-to-1, as there is plenty more moral grey aspects in Gundam. But the vibes that drew me to Star Wars are here.
This throwaway character was gonna just be a grunt in another comic, but now I think the design is cool enough to make a main villain.
