Sangatsu no Lion: A wholesome story about a young man finding his place in the world despite all odds. Everything is so cute and reading it you feel so good and fluffy inside!
Shirayukihime shows a strong woman deciding her destiny for herself and following her path as an apothecary at the castle. I. Love. The. Characters! And the stories are smart snd fun to read!
(AND LOOK AT MY OTP AAAA I LOVE THEM SO MUCH ❤️ ❤️ ❤️)
Another strong-willed, red-haired female lead! Nakaba is forced to marry, but her bloodline with the Arcana of time changes her destiny forever and ever. It is exciting, has lots of plot twist and romance!
"Atelier of the Witch Hat" follows the want-to-be witch Coco. The worldbuilding is MAGICAL (pun intended), the adventures are so impactful, the characters so sympathetic and the art may be the most beautiful one I have ever seen! Every panel is an eyecandy!
Spice and Wolf plays in a fictional medieval world and Holo is such a strong, fun and smart character (wolf)! The witty conversations between her and the merchant Lawrence are GREAT! The manga adaptation closely follows its light novel origin! (I LOVE ALL THE TWISTS AND TURNS)
I love "Apothecary Diaries" because Maomao is smart, witty and knows exactly what she wants. A girl from the red light district is getting involved with the imperial court and solves many mysteries!
(This manga is one of the highest wanted anime adaptations!)
Xxxholic is a manga creating its own genre and is extremly fascinating, spooky and fun at the same time! Yuuko is the witch of dimensions and has the power to fulfill any wish. But the bigger the wish, the higher the price...
(Bonus: the art is GORGEOUS!)
Let’s start with „Yona of the Dawn“! I love this manga because Yona is such a strong, female lead, the worldbuilding is fantastic, the story and characters are compelling and it has just the right amount of romance!
(It starts slow, but it’s worth the read!)
