- Oh hey, that good Taxman remaster of Sonic the Hedgehog got a PC port finally. So of course I beat that again.

#2. Trials of Mana

Thankfully the remake of arguably the best game in the Mana franchise actually had some funding put into, nothing AAA or anything like the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but honestly it's a very charming game and I think that works to it's advantage.

#3. Halo: The Master Chief Collection

There's still some bugs to work out in MCC, but under the consideration that it's still going to be updated as time goes on along with future modding tools to mod the games in the collection, it's kinda hard not to recommend the PC version.

#4. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2

I have some mixed feeling about this one especially compared to Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, but it's still a fairly solid title and something I'd easily recommend.

#6. Streets of Rage 4

Developed by Lizardcube, the people behind the wonderful Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap remake has done it once again by bringing back the classic Streets of Rage franchise in one of the best beat 'em titles in quite some time.

#7. Dragon Marked for Death

It's a quest based 2D action RPG that plays kinda similar to Mega Man Zero or Mega Man ZX mechanically (minus the transformations). Yea, I'm kinda down for that shit ngl.

#8. DOOM 64

What you could say is the true DOOM 3 finally got ported to modern platforms this year and is also now officially DOOM canon so that's also pretty based.

#9. Shantae and the Seven Sirens

This was over a pretty good game, but that said, I think it's one of the weaker Shantae titles especially after following Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Shantae: ½ Genie Hero.
