A large reason for why Nana's character design is always covering her neck is to hide the mark. And no, her neck is not her belly button.

At my debut I also mentioned my new outfit incorporates my new lore! Both lily of the valley and nemophila feature in my head piece, dress and logo. Symbols of the sacrifices that makes Nana Asteria who she is today.

✧ EASTER EGGS ANALYSIS

The biggest easter egg I want to mention is the language of flowers. I made the world of Despair and Hope center around a field of nemophila and lily of the valley - with specific meanings in mind!

Nana awakens from a long dream and regains these lost memories of despair and hope. Understanding to cherish this life, for having both is what makes one human.

However, unbeknownst to Despair, her destructive powers were slowly destroying the only person she cherished in the world. Hope kept this hidden until the last moment, never once blaming Despair.

The 2nd lore video ends with a reference to Michaelangelo's Pieta. This metaphorical image of Nana succumbing to the belief that she is inherently evil "kills" all hope.
