I was so annoyed as a kid when the Movie Maniacs toys pivoted away from horror to more mainstream action characters, but I'm looking at old speculation threads from 2000 and most of the most requested characters Indiana Jones, John McClane, Maximus, William Wallace, not horror.

Example of a cool thing he went on to do in the comics, to be fair: the rejuvenated Mephisto of the comics can manipulate fire, which he uses to maximum effect at one point to literally blow Torch up from the inside (and also take Tunneler with him)

While we're talking about THE RAID it's a good time to mention that Moon Knight's THE RAID issue (2014's MOON KNIGHT #5) was good as fuck.

A new novel about Willow's daughter came out today and there's a new Spike novel coming this summer so I say again into the void, from the bottom of my heart: let me write my Dawn novel. I'm not kidding. I'm in love with the idea.
