I just discovered that this poster for Game Night (2018) is very clearly paying homage to the Criterion cover for The Game (1997). I imagine the pitch was "David Fincher's The Game, but as a slapstick comedy". Both are very entertaining mind-bendy movies. Jesse Plemons!!!

A couple weeks ago I was talking to my therapist about how much the movie Surrogates resonated with me on a transgender/transhuman level. Splice also made me feel this way. Kudos to terrible sci-fi/horror films as being the only relatable media for trans folx.
