In the same vein: Ah yes, the "villain"’s ultimate tactic: distract the enemy by wearing a robe/coat/shirt opened all the way to his sternum. Bonus points for Yan Wushi and Hua Cheng for also being the love interest. DOUBLE bonus points for ⭐️ember’s pirate!HC, because wow. 😳

Watched the English dub of Heaven Official’s Blessing ep. 4 and it’s really good! Xie Lian and Hua Cheng’s VA especially sound perfect to me; HC speaks with a touch of mischievousness and a deep voice -which is how he’s described in the book!

Started reading Golden Stage and I’m already at chapter 16! It’s a little bit like Sha Po Lang; while the latter have a a more original steampunk-wuxia world, I much prefer the main couple here. Fu Shen & Yan Xiaohan are equals in wits & power, and best of all, THEY COMMUNICATE!
