10.- The Deep Cuts.

Really, there's a lot I tend to consider while working on drawings as I try to jam as many references as possible.

If you didn't catch these two: they are Willy the Wombat (Crash's original character concept, colorized in Crash 4) and Manga Crash.

8.- Hardly Reused.

I am an absolute mad lad, but most everything in the drawing is actually custom made. I had to recreate the logo for the drawing. Friends often comment that I'm disturbingly good at imitation.

5.- The Final Sketch.

After settling on the ideas, I started working on rough final sketches I could use as a base to make each of the panels work, they weren't exactly clean, but it helps define where I want to go with each one a bit better, fixing can wait.

So here's my entry to this fan art collab thing, I may have gone a bit too hard on it. Hopefully I'm not too late to enter.

For those of you who like alternate takes.

Honestly, I'd like to see more people give things like these a shot, its fascinating to see what other people would have liked. I myself had some other alternate ideas, but I went with what I did for very good reasons.

I think you are the one who forgot to look at the full art before trying to be a smart cookie, I award you no points, have a nice day.

Same goes for Taiga, though this one i had two problems: the first being that i may have accidentally set the forest on fire.

The 2nd? Well, that shot with the TNT used to have a pressure plate... but then a villager decided to be S-M-R-T and... well, i had to fix a big hole.

Birch on the other hand was kind of a nightmare, mostly on account of terrain elevation and that the trees covered up a LOT of the background, it took a lot of thight squeezes with the Smash camera to get the shots needed for this one.

First up, the Plains. This was fun to actually observe and recreate faithfully, taught me a lot of the ropes on how to actually build effectively in the game.

Of note: I can only recreate what I can see, so if the camera wouldn't show me, I had to improv.
